The attack took place near Blenheim Way at approximately 6:30 AM. Emergency services responded promptly to reports of an armed individual with a knife in the vicinity of Hawthorn Road and Kingstanding Road. CCTV footage captured the suspect walking down the street openly carrying a knife before randomly attacking a passerby. The footage shows the assailant walking away as the victim fled the scene.

A 32-year-old man remains in custody after four people were slashed at with a knife in the area around Blenheim Way yesterday. Fortunately no-one was seriously injured in the incident. Officers have been carrying out local enquiries and have been gathering CCTV footage to help with their investigation. A potential fifth victim has been identified who our officers would like to speak to.
